During the session I had the wonderful opportunity of being looking after by the friendly & beautiful clinician Julia, who was extremely attentive to my needs.

We had an in-depth consultation about my skin and concerns after which she dived into a tailor made treatment plan. She was knowledgeable in her craft, patiently extracted all the ‘icky’ bits off my face and by the time she was done with her magic, I was left with dewy, radiant and baby-soft skin that I cannot stop touching.

Last year I received a hair transplant from the team at The Derm Lab. I’ve waited until now (6 months later) to write this review, once the true results begin to show. To summarise my experience on the day and the long term outcome – I’m thrilled. Christian, Sam, Casey plus all the other technicians did a first class job – their professionalism and care are outstanding. Each morning when I look in the mirror when brushing my teeth I feel proud and happy at all the new hair I have – I feel refreshed and confident, whereas before I was bothered by it on a daily basis. That underlying sense of loss and sadness has now gone. It’s an ongoing sense of relief, and I’m very grateful to Christian and his team for making this happen.

I had a consult/skin analysis here recently with Julia and would recommend her and the Derm Lab to anyone wanting to explore their options! Julia was friendly and knowledgable and took the time to really understand my circumstances and concerns. She gave me a recommendation for an addition to my skincare regimen which I took on board, and I’ve noticed improvements in my skin since then! While some of the treatments and products that were recommended were very pricey I understand I would likely be getting the best. I’m keen to go back when I’ve saved enough for the recommended treatment plan!

Have had multiple procedures at The Derm Lab over the last few years and each one has been an excellent experience. I had an initial consultation about my concerns with my skin. The person I saw was friendly, and very thorough with her questions to ensure that she understood my pre-existing skin and health issues prior to creating a treatment plan.

ULTRAFORMER. This is a retrospective review of Ultraformer. I wanted to wait some time before writing in order to gain a true appreciation of the results (or lack thereof). Treatment was in September 2022, we are now in April 2023. Around 8 months has passed since my treatment. Verdict. Amazing. This is incredible technology that does exactly what is promised to you. As I started to noticed some ageing in my skin I was interested in Ultraformer for overall skin rejuvenation and fat reduction in certain areas. Not being the type to indulge in skin treatments too often I was curious due to the impressive claims. Long story short. It works! Noticed that over time freshness in the face increased – presumably due to collagen production and the lifting/tightening mechanisms doing their thing. Fat reduction is permanent. Mel was really wonderful throughout the entire procedure. I appreciated her thoroughness talking me through how the treatment works, her experiences with it thus far, expected pain and discomfort. I’ve also been seeing Dr Sam for injectables and he’s the best as his emphasis is on naturalness and there is never any upselling or going over the top! I could go on and on… I love Derm Lab. No regrets!

I had my first consultation at the Derm Lab today with Julia for acne scarring. The environment at the clinic was very warm and welcoming. Julia was very patient and started the consultation with a series of questions to understand my skin history and goals better. She also thought that I would benefit from seeing a naturopath and referred me to a gut health specialist.
The medical and skin history was followed by a cleanse and detailed analysis of my skin health.

Im leaving this review in relation to a hair transplant that i recently underwent at The Dermlab. I want to send huge compliments and commendation to Christian & Sam for making this procedure/surgery the most seamless and comforting experience you could ever imagine. Very friendly, clean and professional environment. I originally went for a consultation for a more expensive treatment which was not suitable for my skin concerns. We decided on the dermapen followed by a laser light treatment. They provided post-treatment cream to take home and the after care was easy and uncomplicated. The redness went down after a day with a some small red spots clearing a few days later.

Had an incredible facial from Julia, my skin was glowing afterwards. Would highly recommend!

I had Microneedling done with Julia and had the most wonderful experience! The process itself was very clearly explained before and during the procedure, she kept checking in with me and I didn’t feel a thing! After, she sent me messages to check in with the healing process and even messaged on non working days to check in with me, as I was leaving the country soon after.

These guys are fantastic – can’t recommend them highly enough! I went to the Derm Lab to get some coolsculpting done. From the initial assessment through to the treatment they have been nothing but honest, professional and unbelievably warm and friendly. They put the time in to make sure you know what you’re getting into, what the possible results would look like and what the cost is going to be – without being pushy. I was recommended by an old co worker who used to come and see Christian at The Derm Lab back at the old location. Ever since I met Christian, he has been a god sent for my skin! From my first skin consultation, my skin has never been better.

I stumbled across The Derm Lab by accident as I was looking for information about the benefits of skin needling for a friend of mine. I ending up making an appointment for myself shortly after.

From the moment I walked in, the decor and the friendly receptionist felt fresh and inviting. Even when I was running late from work, they were very accommodating. I met with Julia for my first consult. Julia took the time to throughly understand my needs and analyse my skin condition.

I recently did my first visit and consultation with Derm Lab, it was my first time also seeking specialised help for my acne skin and my experience was so pleasant and refreshing.
My consultant was Julia and she carried out exceptional customer service making me feel at ease and having the ability/ comfortability to ask about any queries. She was super patient, friendly and gave me a variety of different options in which I could choose as alternatives.

I’ve been coming to The Derm Lab in Melbourne over the last 9 months for various treatments and to say I’m happy is an understatement.

I’m based in Perth but it works out cheaper for me to come to Melbourne for treatments whilst taking the opportunity to visit friends and family than it is to have the treatments at home in Perth.

Christian at The Derm Lab is the best in the business!!! I started going to Christian at the start of the year for a skin needling treatment, recommended by a friend, and have not been disappointed ever since! Other than being very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, he’s place is so cute, chic and super clean.

Initially visited The Derm Lab for fat freezing on my abdomen. I was wrapped with my results so am now getting laser hair removal. Christian is amazing and knows what he is talking about! 10/10

I had tons of back acne because of my lactose intolerance, so I decided to get some needling on my back with the derma pen and I saw results as soon as it healed. So if you have any similar issues just get it done, it will help lots

I’ve just had the emsculpt done on my stomach and bum, and absolutely love the results! My stomach is now so much more defined, and has helped get rid of my stomach ‘pouch’. My bum has lifted, and rounded as well. Christian was so helpful with everything, will definitely be returning!

Christian and his team are professional, friendly and honest. My expectations have been truly exceeded and I cannot recommend The Derm Lab enough. I’ve been disappointed with cosmetic treatments previously and had little to no change but after nearly 12 weeks I am loving my smoother curves around my waist and finally have a defined chin!

Amazing service from the moment I booked. Christian and Gerri explained and answered every question I asked from my consultation, pre treatment, treatment and post treatment. Christian provided honest feedback and even refused to treat my arms as they weren’t suitable for treatment (I need to go to the gym and tone them up instead!! 🙁 ).

Having tried Hypoxy, Sculpsure and cavitation (and wasted a lot of money doing so!) I came across fat freezing and couldn’t be happier. I’ve had 2 treatments now over the last 6 months (the 2nd was just to finessè my curves) and I’m loving my new mum bod.

From the moment I had my first consultation with Christian I felt I was in good hands. While being a skeptic in the idea of fat freezing – I thought, just give it ago. the process itself going for about 1hr is a strange feeling, but by no means painful.

I had my fat freezing treatment just over 12 weeks ago and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best decisions of my life! I’m not very big but I’ve always struggled with weight around my lower stomach and muffin top area. I was researching liposuction procedures but came across fat freezing and The Derm Lab, I organised a consultation with Christian and was blown away by his knowledge, energy and his clinic.
